Ok perhaps you should recheck what the “tracert” command does. It tracks the path you follow before your computer reaches google.com. So basicly it shows how you go to the servers of your ISP and from there to the servers of Google. It is not possible for you to see how many ppl are currently browsing google.com as this information can only be seen by Google. And if you used just a little bit of common sense then you would’ve known that 8 ppl around the world browsing google.com is probebly no where near the real number of ppl that’s actually browsing the worlds largest search engine.

Also the “speeds” you’re talking about are actually no speeds at all. Those are timers and they tell you (in ms = miliseconds) how much time it took to reach that perticular server.

It’s nice of you to at least try, but pls use proper knowledgebases like Wikipedia to learn before you teach others something that isn’t correct.

  2. I hope you noticed I posted this under “Fun” and not in the “Technical” section. Obviously this isn’t me, I just posted it because I thought it was hilariously.

I’ve been an IT professional for almost 15 years now, so I guess we can assume I’m a little bit smarter (and older) then the kid in the video.

Here‘s a nice impression on some more realistic figures.
