Usefull Firefox plugins

Here is a list of the Firefox plugins I am using:
Alexa Sparky

Sparky is Alexa Internet’s free Firefox status bar plugin. Sparky accompanies you as you surf, providing you with Alexa data about the sites you visit without interrupting your browsing.

Discover website traffic trends — Is this site getting more popular, or less?

Get detailed traffic information including Reach and Rank — How does this site’s traffic compare to other sites on the Web?

Surf more efficiently with Related Links for each page — If I like this site, are there others that I might want to visit?

Gracefully navigate past dead end error pages — Enable Sparky’s optional custom error handling to get relevant alternative links when your browser encounters a network error.

Download Statusbar

View and manage downloads from a tidy statusbar – without the download window getting in the way of your web browsing.

Firebug

Firebug integrates with Firefox to put a wealth of development tools at your fingertips while you browse. You can edit, debug, and monitor CSS, HTML, and JavaScript live in any web page…

Firefox sync

Free browser add-on that lets you stay in sync with your Firefox. Access your history, passwords, bookmarks and even open tabs across all your devices.

Flagfox

Displays a country flag depicting the location of the current website’s server and provides a multitude of tools such as site safety checks, whois, translation, similar sites, validation, URL shortening, and more…

Screengrab

Screengrab! saves webpages as images…

It will capture what you can see in the window, the entire page, just a selection, a particular frame… basically it saves webpages as images – either to a file, or to the clipboard. It captures Flash too!

Server Spy

Server Spy indicates what brand of HTTP server (e.g. Apache, IIS, etc.) runs on the visited sites.

Showip

Show the IP address(es) of the current page in the status bar. It also allows querying custom information services by IP (right mouse button) and hostname (left mouse button), like whois, netcraft.

Yslow

YSlow analyzes web pages and why they’re slow based on Yahoo!’s rules for high performance web sites.

Turning off or disabling SElinux

Disabling SELinux temporarily:

To turn SElinux off temporarily, you will need to have root access on your system. Execute the following command in a terminal:

echo 0 > /selinux/enforce

This turns off SELinux until you reboot your system. To turn it back on you can also execute the following command:

echo 1 > /selinux/enforce

You can also set SELinux to permissive mode. It gives you a warning message instead of prohibiting the action. To change SELinux’s to permissive mode you have to edit /etc/selinux/config.

SELINUX=permissive

Turning off SELinux

To disable SELinux you replace SELINUX=enabled with SELINUX=disabled.

You will need to reboot your system for this option.

Touching the wall

What does one TRILLION dollars look like?

What does that look like?

We’ll start with a $100 dollar bill. Currently the largest U.S. denomination in general circulation. Most everyone has seen them, slighty fewer have owned them. Guaranteed to make friends wherever they go.

bill.jpg

A packet of one hundred $100 bills is less than 1/2″ thick and contains $10,000. Fits in your pocket easily and is more than enough for week or two of shamefully decadent fun.

packet.jpg

Believe it or not, this next little pile is $1 million dollars (100 packets of $10,000). You could stuff that into a grocery bag and walk around with it.

pile.jpg

While a measly $1 million looked a little unimpressive, $100 million is a little more respectable. It fits neatly on a standard pallet…

pallet.jpg

And $1 BILLION dollars… now we’re really getting somewhere…

pallet_x_10.jpg

Next we’ll look at ONE TRILLION dollars. This is that number we’ve been hearing so much about. What is a trillion dollars? Well, it’s a million million. It’s a thousand billion. It’s a one followed by 12 zeros.

You ready for this?

It’s pretty surprising.

Go ahead…

Scroll down…

Ladies and gentlemen… I give you $1 trillion dollars

(And notice those pallets are double stacked.)
